How we work

A small team, on purpose.

Async-first, written-first, deeply technical. Every engineer is on-call for something they shipped. Promotions are based on shipped systems, not headcount under your name.

  • 4-day in-person offsite, twice a year

Interview process

Three steps. Roughly two weeks.

1 · Conversation

45 minutes with the hiring manager. About your background and the role. Some technical context, no whiteboards.

2 · Take-home or pairing

Choose: a take-home problem you can do in 3–4 hours, or a live pairing session against our codebase. We pay for take-home time.

3 · Team day

Three sessions in one day: system design, code review, and a values conversation with a founder. Decision within 48 hours.
